# Country Restrictions

Premarket applies geographic restrictions to Prediction Markets and Yield Farm only. These restrictions are required for regulatory compliance and apply at the product level.

## What this means for you

If you are based in a restricted country, you can still visit Premarket and view all markets. You will not be able to interact with Prediction Markets or Yield Farm specifically. All other products (Pre IPO, Pre TGE, Options, and RWAs) remain fully accessible regardless of location.

### Restricted Countries (Prediction Markets and Yield Farm only)

Access to Prediction Markets and Yield Farm is blocked from the United States and the following jurisdictions:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, France, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Kenya, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Monaco, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Namibia, Nicaragua, Niger, North Korea, People's Republic of China, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

Access is also restricted from any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. country wide, territory wide, or regional economic sanctions.

### Why these restrictions exist

Prediction markets are classified as gambling, restricted financial products, or regulated derivatives in many jurisdictions. The restriction list is set by our liquidity partner and Premarket enforces it at the product level to remain compliant. Yield Farm uses the same prediction market contracts and inherits the same restrictions.

### How your location is detected

Location is detected using IP based geolocation and compliance checks. Using a VPN or other workaround to bypass these restrictions may violate the Premarket terms of service.
